The BioCAS 2014 conference was hosted at École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne in beautiful Lausanne, Switzerland, on the shores of Lake Geneva. Lausanne boasts a dramatic panorama over the lake and the Alps.
The conference was held in the Swiss Tech Convention Center, on the EPFL campus. This newly constructed center offered state-of-the art services to the BioCAS 2014 attendees.

Welcome Reception
The BioCAS 2014 Welcome Reception was held on Wednesday, October 22 at 7:00 pm. We enjoyed an evening of food and drink, along with the Live Demonstrations and Exhibits. This was a perfect time to re-connect with the BioCAS community!
Conference Gala Dinner
The BioCAS 2014 Gala Dinner was held at the beautiful and historic Beau-Rivage Palace on Thursday, October 23 at 7:30 pm. The Gala Dinner was in the Sandoz Room, undeniably the jewel of the hotel, richly decorated for a perfect setting for our special evening.
The Beau-Rivage Palace has never closed its doors since 1861, and over the years has played host to many illustrious guests. Victor Hugo, Charlie Chaplin, Coco Chanel, Nelson Mandela and Tina Turner are just a few of the many famous names.
We enjoyed a special evening with beautiful music, exceptional dinner, and a few surprises! It was an unforgettable evening!
Conference Farewell Reception
The Farewell Recpetion was held at the Olympic Museum, with a tour of the museum from 6:00 to 9:00 pm.
The attendees enjoyed a tour of the museum from 7:00 to 9:00 pm, with the reception of food and drink from 8:00 to 10:00 pm.
